When used as spice, it is the blending material of hawthorn, Mimosa pudica, Syringa oblata and other essence, and is widely used in soap essence and tobacco essence. For the synthesis of Phenethyl alcohol acid α- Phenylindole, Isobutylbenzene propionic acid, etc. are also used as plasticizers for plastics.
