pharmacological action
Levamisole is a synthetic broad-spectrum Anthelmintic. After entering the human body, it inhibits the activity of Succinate dehydrogenase in the muscle of the worm, so that Fumaric acid cannot be reduced to succinic acid, sugar metabolism is hindered, energy production is insufficient, and the muscle of the worm is paralyzed and discharged from the body.
clinical application
Levamisole is commonly used to repel all kinds of animals, and is effective for both adults and larvae. There are eye repellent parasites for various nematodes. It can be used to repel various nematodes in poultry, nematodes such as nematodes, Trichostrongylus, and Aphrostomes in pigs, as well as parasitic parasites such as Haematopodium and Ostrostomus in the abomasum to repel roundworms and intestinal nematodes such as roundworms. It is also effective against nodular nematodes such as esophageal nematodes and renal nematodes in the urinary tract such as coronavirus. Dogs can be used to drive away roundworms, hookworms, and heartworms.
