chemical
Purpose 1
Used for the synthesis of pharmaceuticals and pesticides
Usage 2
Organic intermediates.
background
Industrial production of N, O-dimethylhydroxylamine hydrochloride usually involves obtaining crude N, O-dimethylhydroxylamine hydrochloride with a content of ≤ 95% (GC detection, impurity is methoxylamine hydrochloride). This purity of crude N, O-dimethylhydroxylamine hydrochloride is still obtained using the methanol recrystallization process route, resulting in a finished product with a content of ≤ 95% (GC). When the recrystallization process plan is not feasible, the conventional purification plan is to first dissolve the crude product in water, add alkaline substances to neutralize, distill an aqueous solution of methoxylamine and a mixture of N, O-dimethylhydroxylamine, and then use a distillation tower to separate the N, O-dimethylhydroxylamine fraction before manufacturing N, O-dimethylhydroxylamine hydrochloride.
application
N. O-dimethylhydroxylamine hydrochloride is widely used and expensive, and is an important fine chemical intermediate used in the synthesis of Weinreb amides, pharmaceuticals, and pesticides.
