What is texaparide
Tesipatide is used in combination with diet and exercise to improve glycemic control in adults with type 2 diabetes.
Tizipatide is not used to treat type 1 diabetes.
Tesipatide can also be used for other unlisted purposes.

If you have symptoms of thyroid tumor, such as neck swelling or lump, dysphagia, hoarseness or shortness of breath, please call your doctor immediately.
Before taking this medication, if you are allergic to Ticlopramide or have the following conditions, Ticlopramide should not be used:
Personal or family history of medullary thyroid cancer (a type of thyroid cancer); or
Multiple endocrine tumors type 2 (glandular tumors).
Tell your doctor if you have ever:
Pancreatic problems;
Kidney disease;
Serious stomach problems, such as slow digestion of food or gastric emptying (gastroparesis); Or diabetes retinopathy (a complication of diabetes that affects the eyes).
It is currently unknown whether texaparide will harm unborn infants. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant.
Tesipatide can reduce the effectiveness of birth control pills. Ask the doctor about other contraceptive options, such as injections, implants, skin patches, vaginal rings, condoms, diaphragms, cervical caps, or contraceptive sponges. If you are taking birth control pills, you may need to use different birth control pills for 4 weeks after starting to take texaparide, and use them for 4 weeks each time you increase the dose.
Ask the doctor if breastfeeding is safe when using this medication.
